Hello everyone!!!

I am so happy to announce that I have said yes to this experience. I have decided to dedicate almost one year to serve the Lord overseas by building relationships with people from the countries that I will be visiting spreading the Gospel. The Gospel is necessary, and it is necessary to spread this beautiful truth that brings us life.

A little bit about me! My name is Micah McClain and I am from a small town called Blodgett, Missouri but I am currently residing in Cape Girardeau, Missouri finishing off my last year of college. I am a senior at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in Mass Communications: Public Relations and I have a minor in Fashion. College has been the most growing years of my life. College is where I gave my life to the Lord to all of the beautiful friendships that I have made who have pointed me towards Christ. God changed my life being in college and I couldn’t be happier. Christ is my only true satisfaction and him changing my desires to become a missionary after I graduate in May is the only thing that makes sense.

I spent this past summer in California on a mission team at Sequoia National Park. After spending three months away from home and being away from my comfort this grew me as a person more than ever. While being in California our team led worship services on Sunday mornings for people who didn’t have a church service so we provided them one. We gave sermons each week on a particular topic or message, and through this God really changed my desires. My desires to honor him and to bring him glory has been so life changing. There is nothing else that I would rather do after college then to spread His name with other people who have the same vision as me.

So very honored to be able to serve people and to work along side the World Race starting next August. From Romania to Indonesia, I’m praying that lives are changed from hearing the real truth that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Praise God for his word and for the Lord changing my desires so that I can obey his commandments to spread the Gospel.

Mark 16:15 says, “And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole creation.”

God has commanded us to spread this Gospel and the Lord has put it on my heart to do it overseas! THE LORD IS GOOD!
